BJJ Rank: Purple Belt (2025)

Jay Finch is originally from Dudley and began his martial arts journey in 2006, training in both kickboxing and karate before transitioning to mixed martial arts in 2015. As of February 2026, Jay holds an impressive MMA record of 5–2 and continues to test himself in high-level competition.

Prior to focusing on MMA, he competed extensively in kickboxing and karate at both national and international levels, earning two European titles. Jay moved to Manchester in 2022 to study History at Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating in May 2025. He now trains full-time, balancing his professional commitments with his ambitions in the cage. In addition to MMA, Jay also competes in jiu-jitsu and was awarded his purple belt in 2025.

Outside of the gym, Jay enjoys gaming in his spare time and is currently learning Norwegian. However, his primary focus remains on constant improvement as a martial artist and representing his team at the highest level.
