Jordan Desborough

Originally from Carlisle, Jordan started his MMA journey at 16.

From 2009 to 2017, Jordan was an active MMA fighter and amassed a record of 10–5. After retiring from MMA, he joined the Royal Marines, where he served for five years while continuing to train in BJJ.

Jordan was regarded as one of the top bantamweight fighters, competing for numerous organisations, including Full Contact Contender and Cage Warriors. He also fought for the Cage Warriors belt in a four-man tournament, stepping in at the last minute to take on Brett Johns, ultimately losing by split decision.

Currently, Jordan is an active BJJ competitor, having won multiple medals and belts on the regional scene.

In 2024, Jordan co-founded Central Performance Centre. He also served as the head MMA coach at SBG Manchester, one of Manchester’s original and most decorated MMA gyms.

Outside of MMA, he co-founded Gorilla Invitational, which showcases some of the UK and Europe’s best grapplers competing head-to-head in superfights, gaining a large following and producing viral highlight clips.
